In this dream I was with my family and girlfriend. We were in a high-altitude remote mountain cavern, exploring unknown ruins that we thought no one on earth had touched in thousands of years. There were ancient wall carvings, relics and monuments, and an extreme sense of solitude overall.
Exploring a side-passage led us to a modern, urban living space looking like a very small but luxurious home. The owner soon arrived and we discovered that what we thought was an untouched ruin, was actually the retirement retreat of a single old man built into the side of a mountain, high in the Himalayas. He was very upset at us for invading his home while he was out shopping for tea.
